Em light load (carga leve), a antena carregada até o alto da montanha capta as ondas inaudíveis que fluem da grande antena de distribuição elétrica. Ouvimos soar também o movimento giratório da energia eólica, juntamente com o sino das vacas. As vacas estão fora do campo de visão, mas também complementam a paisagem sonora. Há, portanto, três camadas/níveis de energia sendo produzidos e captados: a eólica, a eletricidade e a gasosa. A escuta nesse trabalho inverte a lógica de tempo: somos arrebatados pela paralisia, e contemplação em vez de agirmos como produtores de uma outra camada energética. O tempo que se instaura ao redor carrega o velho e o novo: a vaca, em sua mais antiga forma de produzir alimento e sustento por ela mesma, a eletricidade que revolucionou a vida moderna, e a energia eólica, enquanto alternativa aos combustíveis fósseis, estando os dois últimos interligados. A força do vento, no entanto, tem uma história mais remota - já era utilizada para alimentar máquina no século I d.c. E a vaca, ao contrário, por pesquisas mais recentes, pode contribuir para a produção de energia limpa e renovável, o que designo como "light load". Seria a vaca nosso futuro tecnológico e energético?

In light load, the antenna loaded to the top of the mountain picks up the inaudible waves flowing from the large electrical distribution antenna. We also hear the swirling motion of wind energy, along with the chime of the cows. The cows are outside the field of view, but they also complement the soundscape. So there are three layers/levels of energy being produced and captured: the eolian, the electric, and the gaseous. The listening in this work inverts the logic of time: we are caught up in stillness, and contemplation rather than acting as producers of another energy layer. The time that is set up around us carries the old and the new: the cow, in its oldest form of producing food and sustenance by itself, the electricity that transformed modern life, and wind energy as an alternative to fossil fuels, the last two being interconnected. Wind power, however, has a more remote history - it was already used to power machines in the first century A.D. And the cow, on the contrary, according to more recent research, can contribute to the production of clean, renewable energy, which I call "light load. Is the cow our technological and energy future?
